Ralph Rodriguez

Ralph joined Airworthiness Worldwide in 1998 for the purpose of helping Hector De Leon with the abundant amount of certification projects that were coming into the company.  In 1997, Ralph retired from the FAA at which he served for 28 years in the positions of Principal Airworthiness Inspector, Supervisory Inspector, and Managing Airworthiness Instructor at the FAA Academy.  Upon his retirement in 1997, Ralph received his appointment as a Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) with unlimited General and Air Carrier certification authority.  Ralph also holds a current Authorized Inspection (IA) certificate allowing him to perform other inspections and Major Repair and Major Alteration approvals.  He also has a FAA A&P license and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Ralph’s commercial aviation experience began in 1957 and was gained from several of the nation’s major airlines and a repair station.  The industry maintenance positions that he has held range from Mechanic to Inspection Foreman and to Superintendent of Maintenance.

Ralph has also given his assistance to domestic and foreign operators in the development of FAA Mandated Air Carrier Maintenance General Policies and Procedures Manuals (FAR parts 121, 129, and 135), Repair Station Inspection Procedures Manuals (FAR part 145), and the structuring of their facilities toward satisfying current FAA regulatory mandates for certification.  With his broad background, Ralph has also provided in-depth training to foreign CAA/DGAC countries.
