Hector joined in July 2000. He is an accomplished
technical representative, pilot, instructor, inspector, and mechanic with over
20 years experience. Prior to Airworthiness Worldwide, Hector was (and
still is) Champion Air’s representative in Mexico City. In this
capacity, Hector takes care of all maintenance and operational aspects of
Champion Air’s airplanes into and out of Mexico. Prior to Champion Air,
Hector worked at Aeromexpress Cargo Airlines where he served in the capacities
of Chief Inspector, Maintenance Manager, and finally Operations Manager.
He gained additional experience during his 12 years at Mexicana Airlines at which he worked as a mechanic, inspector, and instructor.
Hector holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, a
DGAC airframe and power plant license, an FAA A&P license, a DGAC helicopter
mechanic certificate, and a DGAC commercial pilot DGAC certificate. He has
taught courses at AeroMexico’s University and at Conalep. Currently, he
has over 220 flight hours as a pilot. He is fluent in both English and
Spanish.
